Add Services to Shipment

The services you can add to shipments are detailed below.

Ship Items in Case Quantities

Shipping items in cases makes it easy to prevent tiny shipments when Amazon splits your shipments to go to their different warehouses.

To add cases to a client’s shipment follow this simple process:

  1. Open the shipment you would like to add case quantities to.
  2. Select “Add Case” and choose a case size from the drop-down menu that will appear. (Read how to add a new size of case here.)

  1. You will then be able to see how many cases will be used to ship that item and how many strays items there will be. In this example there are 50 pants to fit into cases that fit 32 pants each. As a result the shipment has 1 full case of pants and 18 stray pants.

Add Services to Items in shipment

Inventory items can have services associated with them in shipments. For example, in the picture below you can see that every Sleek Aluminum Computer is packaged with Extra Poly Bags.

In Amazon shipments these services can be customized for a singular shipment. To do this follow these steps:

  1. Open the Amazon shipment you want.
  2. Select the little pen icon associated with the “Cost Per Item” beside the item you want to add a service to.

  1. A page slideover will appear. You can then select the service you want to add and click “Add Service”. You can add multiple services here if you want be repeating this step.

  1. Finally, select “Update Services” to finish.

Note that adding services to an item using this method does not permanently change the services for that item. It only changes the services for that specific shipment item.

Add Delivery Services to a shipment

Delivery services control how your client’s shipment is received at your warehouse. They also enable you to perform forward shipments. To add a delivery service to a shipment follow this process:

  1. Open the shipment you would like to add delivery services to.
  2. Choose the Services sub-page and select “Manage Services”.

  1. Select the “Select Service” box and choose the type of delivery you want. (Read how to add/remove delivery services here.)

  1. Select “Add Service”.
  2. Then use the arrows to choose the quantity of containers of that type of delivery you want.
  3. Finally, select “Update Services” to save you order.

Add Attachments to a shipment

You or your client may want to add a file or other attachment to a specific shipment. To do this follow this process:

  1. Open the shipment you would like to add an attachment to.
  2. Choose the Attachments sub-page and select “Add Attachment”.

  1. Add the name of your attachment.
  2. Browse for you attachment or drag and drop it into the indicated rectangle.
  3. Once it is loaded, select “Attach” to save your changes.
