Pull Listing Data to Fix Unsynced Listings

What Pull Listing Data Does

Pull Listing Data is a tool on the Fix Issues page that finds Amazon listing matches for your inventory items and copies the listing data, including identifiers like FNSKU, into those items in bulk. Use it when items show as Unsynced, or when you hit a "no FNSKU available" error during outbound, instead of opening and syncing each product by hand.

Pull Listing Data Uses Synced Data, Not a Live Amazon Pull

Pull Listing Data copies the listing data that PrepBusiness has already synced from Amazon onto your items. It does not fetch fresh data from Amazon, so it cannot add an identifier that is not already on the listing. If a listing is missing its FNSKU because Amazon had not assigned one when the listing first synced, Pull Listing Data will not fill it in.

PrepBusiness refreshes identifiers from Amazon automatically every 30 days. To pull an identifier from Amazon sooner, open the listing and use Pull Identifiers on the Identifiers tab (see Managing Listing Details).

Opening Pull Listing Data

  1. Select Fix Issues in the left sidebar.
  2. Select the Pull Listing Data tab.
  3. Click Load All Items to load your inventory items and find Amazon listing matches.

Reviewing Listing Matches

After loading, the page shows summary counts at the top: No Listing Linked, Title Mismatch, Missing Images, Missing Dimensions, and Missing Identifiers. Below that, each item is listed with its listing match status.

  • Items already linked to a listing show the linked listing.
  • Items without a linked listing show a suggested match based on SKU.

Fixing Everything in Bulk

  1. Click Accept All Matches to link all suggested matches to their items.
  2. Click Copy All Listing Data To Items to pull the listing data, including identifiers like FNSKU, into your items.

Running this before outbound processing copies the synced listing data, including any identifiers already on the listings, across all items at once, so you do not have to sync each product individually.

Fixing Items Individually

You can also fix items one at a time instead of in bulk:

  • For an item with a suggested match, click Link Listing to link it.
  • For a linked item, click Copy Listing Data To Item to pull its listing data.
