Connect Stripe Account
PrepBusiness uses a separate billing management system called Stripe to allow for powerful billing workflows and easy to use billing management, controls, and reporting.
You can also decide to use Stripe to process credit card transactions for your clients. Depending on the billing method that you choose, PrepBusiness can automatically invoice and charge those invoices to a client's credit card. For more information on the billing cycle options available to you, see Billing Cycles.
You can also decide not to use Stripe to process credit card transactions. In that case, Stripe will only be used to create and manage invoices for your clients.
Either way, to create a Stripe account or connect your existing Stripe account, visit the Account Settings section on the PrepBusiness software. From there, you will see the "Connect with Stripe" button.
Click that button and you will be guided through the account linking process with Stripe. It takes just a couple minutes to set up an account. Once that is completed, the account will be linked to your PrepBusiness account and you should see a message confirming that your Stripe account has been connected successfully.
